Dr.Wendell Ellis
“Simply put, mother knows best… My mom was a chiropractic patient since I was a child… I saw first hand what chiropractic did for mom… I realized there was an alternative to drugs and surgery.”
Chiropractic Career
Dr. Ellis saw first hand how chiropractic helped his mom with her severe headaches, and he realized how much it could improve someones health naturally, that is when he decided to become a chiropractor.
Chiropractic Education
Dr. Ellis began his pre-chiropractic education at Roane State Community College where he studied the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with basic physiology and anatomy courses. After completing his study there, he was accepted at Life University of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia. During his four years at Life, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care. After graduating in 1984 Dr. Ellis moved to Scotland for one year where he worked with a local chiropractor. After practicing abroad he returned to East Tennessee to establish his practice.
Dr. Ellis and his wife Cheryl have 5 children, Ariel, Amber, Aubrey, Lee, Jeremy, and 5 grandkids, Kyland, Mallori, Elijah, Junuh and Marissa. All of which have been adjusted since early childhood.
